Last week was my grandma’s birthday. She loves classic flavors in her desserts, so I decided to make her these vanilla cupcakes with chocolate buttercream frosting…topped with sprinkles, of course!

This chocolate buttercream frosting reminds of the store-bought goodness, but I’ve upped it’s game by adding melted chocolate. It gives the frosting this beautiful silkiness and deepens the chocolate flavor. Now, I wouldn’t want my frosting any other way.
