Marshmallow Frosting
Luscious Marshmallow Frosting - the perfect topping for cakes or sandwiched between cookies!
Ingredients
2 sticks of unsalted butter, softened
1 cup marshmallow cream
5 cups confectioners sugar
1/4 cup whole milk
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. salt
Directions
Add butter, marshmallow cream, and vanilla to a large bowl. Use a hand or stand mixer to blend on low speed, then medium to medium high speed to fully combine.
Combine confectioners sugar and salt. Add confectioners sugar/salt one cup at a time, mixing on low to medium speed after each cup is added.
If frosting is too thick, add some or all of the milk until you get the consistency you desire.
Keep frosting refrigerated until the day you're ready to use it, then place it on a countertop for one hour to soften.
Use with cupcakes, cake, oatmeal cream pies, whoopie pies, etc.
